Modification of the Spent Fuel Receiving Program

Our Company decided to modify the Receiving Program of the Spent Fuel as stated in the attached sheet. Also, we hereby inform that we have modified the “Spent Fuel Receiving and the Forecast of the Reprocessing Quantity” which has been officially publicized on 30 November 2000. · For the present fiscal year, the quantity modified to total 420 assemblies, or approximately 116 tons U. · This Program has been modified in consideration of the “Spent Fuel Receiving/Storage Facilities Repair Works and the Quality Assurance Organization Review Plan”. · This Program may be still modified in relation to the repair works undertaken in the Spent Fuel Storage Pools of the “Spent Fuel Receiving / Storage Facilities. * Please refer to the Japanese text of the press release for further details.
