Start of the second step of Final Commissioning Test at the Reprocessing Plant

On August 12, we commenced the second step of the Final Commissioning Test (so-called the Active Test) at the Rokkasho Reprocessing Plant.
For carrying out the Final Commissioning Test, we have divided it into five steps. Please refer to the foot note for detailed explanation.
As for the first step, which was conducted between March 31 and June 26, the safeties of the facilities, as well as the performance of the equipments and installations, were confirmed according to the original plan.
