| The final phase of the ongoing intake of Low-level Radioactive
Waste from Shimane nuclear power plant, operated by Chugoku Electric Company,
was completed today. |

| Overland transport vehicles loaded with LLW began leaving Mutsu-Ogawara
port at 9:21. The first vehicle arrived at the centre at 9:36, and the
last vehicle was unloaded at 14:10. Intake of the LLW to the centre was
officially completed at 14:16. The total number of the containers received
today was 80 containers(640 drums), for an aggregate total of 200 containers(1600
drums). |
