| The third 1997 intake of Low-level Radioactive Waste(LLW)
is scheduled to be held from 23 June 1997. The LLW will be shipped from
Takahama nuclear power station, operated by Kansai Electric Company in
Fukui prefecture. |

| The total amount of LLW to be received during this intake will be 1920
drums, with each drum containing 200 liters of LLW. Intake of all 1920
drums is expected to take 2 days. |
