The above parties today filed an application with the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency for a certificate of approval for overland vehicle transportation of Phase III returned vitrified waste. |

|
|
The application was filed to obtain government approval of safety measures in transporting vitrified waste by overland vehicles to the Vitrified Waste Storage Centre as required by the Atomic Energy Fundamental Act. |
