The sixth 1997 intake of Low-level Radioactive Waste(LLW) is scheduled to be held from 13 November 1997. The LLW will be shipped from Hamaoka nuclear power station, operated by Chubu Electric Company in Shizuoka prefecture. |

The total amount of LLW to be received during this intake will be 800 drums, with each drum containing 200 liters of LLW. Intake of all 800 drums is expected to take 2 days. |
