The eighth 1997 intake of Low-level Radioactive Waste(LLW) is scheduled to be held on 18 December 1997. The LLW will be shipped from Onagawa nuclear power station, operated by Tohoku Electric Company in Miyagi prefecture. The total amount of LLW to be received during this intake will be 456 drums, with each drum containing 200 liters of LLW. Intake of all 456 drums isexpected to take 1 day. |
