The above parties announced today that "Pacific Swan", the ship being used to transport the third shipment of vitrified waste which left Cherbourg, France on 21 January 1998, is scheduled to arrive at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, Rokkasho-Mura, Aomori prefecture, on 10 March 1998.

To aid the press in their coverage at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, a room for the media will be set up. The press room will open at 6.00 PM local time on 10 March.
