JNFL announced today that inspection of the 60 vitrified waste canisters which are scheduled to arrive on 10 March will be conducted according to the following 7 criteria:

1. Heat emission

2. Appearance

3. Size

4. Weight

5. Radioactive levels

6. Surface cleanliness

7. Confinement integrity
