JNFL today filed an application with the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency to modify the construction plan of its reprocessing facility, as required by the Law for Regulating Nuclear Installations.

The modification relates to the construction schedule: construction was originally scheduled to begin in March 1998, but has been postponed until June 1998.
