The first 1998 intake of Low-level Radioactive Waste(LLW) is scheduled to be held on 20 April 1998. The LLW will be shipped from Takahama nuclear power station, operated by Kansai Electric Company in Fukui prefecture. The total amount of LLW to be received during this intake will be 1720 drums, with each drum containing 200 liters of LLW. Intake of all 1720 drums is expected to take 2 day. |
