The third 1998 intake of Low-level Radioactive Waste(LLW) is scheduled to be held on 29 June 1998. The LLW will be shipped from Shimane Nuclear Power Station, operated by Chugoku Electric Power Company in Shimane prefecture. The total amount of LLW to be received during this intake will be 1600 drums, with each drum containing 200 liters of LLW. Intake of all 1600 drums is expected to take 2 day. |
