The spent fuel loading and unloading exercises conducted today at Mutsu-Ogawara port were temporarily suspended when a minor fault was found in the 150t crane vehicle used to lift the empty cask used in the exercises. The cause of the fault was immediately determined, and after repair work was completed at 5:20 AM, the exercise was restarted. Upon completion of the exercises, the transport ship, Rokuei-maru left port at 9:00 AM. |
