The Fifth 1998 intake of Low-level Radioactive Waste(LLW) is scheduled to be held on 7 October 1998. The LLW will be shipped from Ikata nuclear power station, operated by Shikoku Electric Power Company in Ehime prefecture. The total amount of LLW to be received during this intake will be 1456 drums, with each drum containing 200 liters of LLW. Intake of all 1456 drums is expected to take 2 days. |
