JNFL today announced that shipment of enriched uranium from the Uranium Enrichment Plant in Rokkasho-Mura has been completed. Approximately 64 tons of UF6 (33 cylinders of 30B type) owned by Tokyo Electric Power Company, Chubu Electric Power Company and Kyushu Electric Power Company were transported to JCO CO., LTD., TOKAI PLANT. The shipment was completed at approximately 23:20 on 22 October 1998. |
