Press Release Concerning Alteration of the Fourth Return Shipment of Vitrified Waste Plan

The above parties today announced an alteration to the Fourth Return Shipment of Vitrified Waste Plan. The number of canisters to be received during the second half of FY 1998 will be reduced from 40 to 0 canisters, due to postponement of further shipments until the first half of FY 1999. JNFL also reported this alteration in its plans to Aomori prefecture and Rokkasho village authorities today.
