Press Release Concerning the Approximate Date of Arrival of the Fourth Shipment of Vitrified Waste To Japan

The above parties announced today that "Pacific Swan", the ship being used to transport the fourth shipment of vitrified waste which left Cherbourg, France on 25 February 1999, is scheduled to arrive at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, Rokkasho-Mura, Aomori prefecture, on 15 April 1999. To aid the press in their coverage at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, a room for the media will be set up. The press room will open at 6:30 PM local time on 15 April.
