Transferring Spent Fuel Samples to the Fuel Storage Pool

JNFL today announced that it is scheduled to begin transferring spent fuel samples to its Fuel Storage Pool in the Spent Fuel Receiving and Storage Building on 12 January 2000. The spent fuel, which was used in burn-up measurement equipment calibration tests, has been kept in a temporary storage pit. Beginning on 12 January, it will be transferred to the Fuel Storage Pool that became operational on 3 December 1999.
