1. Receipt of Natural Uranium
JNFL plans to receive a total of 204 cylinders (48Y Type) of
natural uranium in FY 2000. 4 of the cylinders will be
shipped from COMURHEX in France in a single shipment in the
first quarter of FY 2000. The shipment will arrive at Oi
Wharf and be transported by overland vehicles to its final
destination. The remaining 200 cylinders, each 100 of which
will be transported from CAMECO in Canada and COMURHEX in
France in two shipments which will arrive at the port of
Mutsu-Ogawara in the second quarter of FY 2000 and in the
fourth quarter of FY 2000 respectively.
2. Shipment of Enriched Uranium
JNFL plans to ship 63 cylinders (30B Type) of enriched
uranium in two shipments during the first and the fourth
quarter of FY 2000. The first shipment will be for
Mitsubishi Nuclear Fuel Co., Ltd. The destination of the
second shipment has not finalized yet.
3. Receipt of Returned Vitrified Waste
JNFL plans to receive a total of 192 canisters of Phase VI
Returned Vitrified Waste during FY 2000. The canisters will
arrive from COGEMA in France in a single shipment. The
shipment will consist of eight casks, and is scheduled to
arrive at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara during the second half
of FY 2000.
4. Receipt of Low-Level Radioactive Waste
JNFL plans to receive a total of 3360 drums (in 420
LLW-1 Type Containers) of Low-Level Radioactive Waste in 3
shipments in FY 2000. 664 of the drums will be received in
September and 976 drums in October. The remaining 1720 drums
will be received in February 2001.

- Consignees of Low Level Radioactive Waste will be
announced shortly after details are finalised.
- Shipment dates, except for those involving natural
uranium, will be announced shortly after details are
finalised.
