Completion of the Fourth Shipment of Vitrified Waste to the Vitrified Waste Storage Centre

We are pleased to announce that receiving procedures for the fourth shipment of vitrified waste were completed at 16:06 today at the Vitrified Waste Storage Centre. We would like to thank national and local government officials, as well as all other concerned parties, for their understanding and support regarding the fourth shipment of vitrified waste to Japan. Rigorous safety standards will be enforced during all inspection, measurement and storage operations scheduled in the coming months. In an effort to maintain the public’s trust, we also pledge our renewed commitment to information disclosure and management transparency.
