In Response to the Article that Appeared in the Weekly Magazine, "Flash"

Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) is currently investigating the real facts behind a story recently published in “Flash,” in which an ex-worker claimed to have manipulated LLW surface dose equivalency data at TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. The article also claimed that TEPCO has been sending waste containing radioactive granules to JNFL's Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Centre in Rokkasho-Mura. This claim is clearly false, because at no time has waste containing such granules ever been received at the Centre. Regarding the article’s other allegations, JNFL is closely monitoring the progress of the investigation by TEPCO.
